Bidder Agreement National Finalists Colombia Land of Diversity
Your participation in the Auction indicates your review of, and acceptance to, the following Rules, Terms, and Conditions of the Auction of the National Finalists of “Colombia Land of Diversity” Contest.
INTRODUCTION
The 10th National Coffee Quality Contest, “Colombia Land of Diversity” is the tenth national coffee quality competition organized by the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation. This contest seeks to highlight the diversity of cup profiles that Colombia has, positioning the country as one of the best specialty coffee producers.
In this version of the auction, the FNC decided to organize an auction for the lots that went to the international cupping round but that did not get to the live auction of the 4th of April of 2025. Taking this into account, the FNC decided to organize an open bidding auction for the 31 finalist National Finalists. The bidding for the winning coffee lots may be done online in the following link www.colombialandofdiversity.com. By registering to participate on this auction platform, conducted by M Cultivo, all bidders expressly acknowledge that they have read and understood the following terms and conditions of sale and agree to be bound thereby.
Acceptance of Terms By accessing the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately.
Auction Opening Date and Times The Auction will open for bidding on the Tuesday 8th of April of 2025 and at the following times:

Access and Bidding The Auction Transaction process is as follows:
Each potential Buyer signs in to the Auction Platform.
The potential Buyer requests access to the Auction and accepts the specific Auction Transaction rules.
Seller approval grants access to selected potential Buyers.
Successful Buyers receive payment instructions via email at the Auction Transaction conclusion.
Auction Format All lots will undergo an initial bidding period of 96 hour(s (From Tuesday 8 am Bogotá time, to Friday 11th at 8 am Bogotá time). Following this, a 3-minute countdown clock initiates. Bidding continues on all lots, resetting the clock to 3 minutes after each bid. The auction concludes when no bids are received on any coffee within the countdown period.
Auction Pricing Lot pricing is denominated in USD dollars and cents per pound. Each lot opens with a minimum price of 4,5 Price per lb, with a minimum bidding increment of 0,50 Price per lb per pound.
Bids and Auto Bids Bidders can place bids manually or opt for an auto-bid, specifying a budget and minimum increment. The Auction Platform will automatically bid on behalf of the bidder by incrementing the current highest bid. Once accepted, auto-bids are binding; however, bidders can adjust or cancel auto-bid settings at any time.

PURCHASING TERMS
Parties:
Seller/Exporter: Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (FNC).
Buyer: Party who successfully makes the highest bid for each lot. The winning bid (highest bid) becomes the buyer of the lot being auctioned.
Prices: All bids shall be expressed in U.S. Dollars per pound (US$/lb), outright price. Final outright price will be determined by the highest bid for each lot.
Delivery/Shippment Terms:
Free on Board (FOB) - Colombian port.
Stuffing condition: LCL/FCL.
Shipment port: Seller’s option.
Other applicable services and fees to be agreed on a case-by-case basis.
Payment terms:
New FNC clients: Advance payment
Current FNC clients: As per current terms at the date of the auction.

Approval:
All lots are pre-approved at the cupping session(s) prior to the auction.
Packaging:
Vacuum packaging: 24 kgs boxes with two 12kgs vacuum packages (included in price).
Shipping
Shipping Month: May 2025 – After all logistics, shipping details and payment terms have been agreed and met by the FNC and the buyer. Partial shipments will not be accepted.
Shipping instructions must be provided by the buyer no later than 10 business days after the live auction to the FNC logistics team.
If buyer wants to consolidate the lot with a different exporter than the seller (FNC), the lot must be paid in full before it is released. Any changes in shipping procedures requested by the buyer may result in additional shipping, administrative and documentation charges to their account.
If 30 days after the auction the buyer does not send the shipping instructions or pay in advance, in the case of new FNC clients, the FNC will not be responsible of quality loss.

INTERNAL MARKET BIDDERS
If the winning bidder is based in Colombia, the entire winning lot will be delivered as per the following conditions:
Payment in advance.
Invoice should be expressed in USD.
Payment to be made in COP as per the current exchange rate available at the payment day. It is the buyer’s responsibility to announce the payment day to the seller.

Financial Responsibility The highest bidder at auction close is responsible for full payment to the exporter for the entire lot. Once accepted, bids cannot be revoked. If the producer or country partner declines a payment or shipping request, the winning bidder remains liable for full payment.
